Carson City Human Services (CCHHS) branch has a Workforce Program that can assist individuals that have barriers preventing them from employment. Such barriers may include but are not limited to interview skills, job searching, resume assistance, etc.

The Community Block Grant fund the CCHHS Workforce Program. Individualized goal planning and case management support contribute to the success participants have with obtaining and keeping jobs. Opportunities to increase job skills through training and certifications are explored and encouraged. A combination of the Workforce Strategies classes, community partnerships, one on one case management support, and consistent job fairs give residents the tools needed to succeed.
