Interoperable Communications

CCHHS has worked with healthcare systems in our regions and response partners to establish communications redundancy, ensuring that if one communications system fails, other technologies can be implemented in order to maintain good communications. We have developed healthcare communication systems which allow all partners to communicate horizontally (with each other), and vertically with EMS, fire, law enforcement, local and State public health agencies. Communications systems include radios and satellite phones, as well as web-based programs.
